LEIGH Centurions are delighted to announce that the Club’s annual Golf Day at Houghwood on Tuesday, May 17 is already a complete SELL OUT!
Massive sponsorship and healthy corporate support has been provided and every single fourball team (24 in total) has been allocated and sold in readiness for what promises to be a top class sporting event at one of the North West’s premier parkland courses.
The tournament is being presented by Mr Jason Huyton of Palatine Paints.
Westco will be the event’s associate sponsor.
Bents Garden and Home, Maxilead Metals, TTR Construction, Tim Philbin (Design Business Interiors), Chilli Dip Golf, CS CIvils and Preston Audi have also kindly provided additional sponsorships.
There will be a breakfast and evening presentation/barbecue.
Players will be met and greeted by a high profile figure from the golfing world – Karl Morris – a North West based mind coach who has worked with a galaxy of stars including Open Champions Louis Oosthuizen, Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell.
Former Premier League footballer turned TV celebrity and pundit Jimmy Bullard is also supporting the event.
Top class prizes will be up for grabs.
Competitors can also look forward to a top-class trick shot show.

A reserve list for competing teams is already in operation. One or two hole sponsorships still remain and these can be allocated by contacting the club. The event will be given extensive TV and media coverage.
Several local golf professionals have also been kindly supportive.
