Leigh Centurions take on Wakefield Trinity in their final Betfred Super League game (Round 24) at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday afternoon.

Earlier in the season Centurions went down 20-30 at the Mobile Rocket Stadium. Centurions last Super League win over Wakefield was back in 2005 at Hilton Park by 40-18.

Ryan Brierley goes into the game needing one try to reach 200 in his career and one to equal John Woods’ 152 tally for Leigh.

Ryan is currently in pole position with goals percentage at 96% with 24 successful kicks from 25 attempts.

For Wakefield Mason Lino has an 89.33% record with 67 successful kicks from 75 attempts.

Interim Head Coach Kurt Haggerty said: “Magic weekend was a big disappointment. We started well but to fall away like we did after the break was poor. We want to give the fans something to cheer about in our final two games.”
